PROCESS
We like the details. Every project regardless of size is subject to a set of procedures that ensures that no facet is over looked, deemed inferred, surmised or assumed. We subscribe to getting it right the first time, not the second.
For the past 15 years, we have cultivated relationships with a variety of clients whose needs were as diverse as the retail landscape itself. This array was the catalyst to create a framework to safeguard against errors and omissions sometimes caused by hurried checkpoints and aggressive delivery schedules. We are dedicated to performing beyond our clients’ expectations and hope you will consider MMI when planning your next marketing endeavour.
INITIAL MEETING
This is an opportunity to explore and review the project’s goals, budget, and timing. A client brief if available, is examined along with other elements that may be integral to the program. Corporate and production guidelines are disclosed and checked for relevancy and purpose. If applicable, previous production pieces may be provided to aid in the quoting & manufacturing process.
QUOTE SUBMISSION
The next step is to generate a quote/proposal for your approval. The scope of the project including; costs, materials, timing and all pertinent information is itemized for review. This stage is crucial as it offers the framework that will be followed moving forward. It is also a checkpoint that ensures both parties are completely lucid in what is being provided and if so deemed, a set of responsibilities is outlined.
DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Every project starts in the creative department where a complete review is undertaken and the project’s path is determined. If there is a manufacturing component to the job, a meeting with both design and production is scheduled to promote a level of communication that ensures an error free transition of information and specifications.
Depending on the scope of the project, a prototype may be developed for review and approval.
All creative is provided in a manner best suited for the job. Files may be e-mailed, down loaded via our FTP site, or presented on boards if so directed. Several rounds of refining and amendments may be necessary to reach the final design that meets the criteria set forth by the client. Every effort is made to make this process a timely and engaging endeavour.
FINAL DESIGN APPROVAL
During the creative process, a variety of changes can occur. It is therefore paramount that a “final artwork” stage be in place to benefit all parties. This conclusive set of drawings becomes the standard for which all production elements will reference, and concludes the design portion of the project.
MANUFACTURING
Upon approval of artwork and or prototype, production of program components enters the manufacturing phase. Every element follows a stringent set of guidelines to ensure adherence to creative and production specifications. Client approval checkpoints are implemented to ensure error free manufacturing, while budget and timeline parameters are preserved.
At the completion of a project, files are burned to disk and furnished for your records.
